This 'n' That
We are a very small home-based kennel. All client dogs are treated as one of our own while they are here. Nights are spent indoors and days are spent outdoors, weather permitting.
No dog is ever left outside overnight under any circumstances!
All dogs eat their meals in a crate and all dogs sleep in a crate overnight. There are no exceptions to this rule.
A notice to all our clients:
Due to an increasing number of occasions where clients have not notified us of changes in their plans, we have had to enforce a few new policies.
1) If cancellations are not made at least 48 hours in advance of boarding reservations, you will be charged for one day ($15).
2) If you request dropping off your dog prior to 8:00 am and then do not arrive until after 8:00 am, you will still be charged the additional fee.
3) If you do not show up to drop off or pick up your dog at the time agreed upon, you will be charged $2 per hour for each hour that you are late.
This charge can be avoided by simply picking up the telephone and calling to let us know you are running late.
Similarly, if you arrive earlier than your scheduled time to drop off or pick up your dog, you may have to wait until your scheduled time to drop off or pick up your dog.
4) If your dog is unable to be exercised with other dogs and must be walked individually, there is an additional charge per day of $5.
We know this will be an inconvenience for some of our clients, and we apologize for that.
However, there have been many times that we have had to cancel plans and rearrange our schedules to accomodate clients that have not shown up when they said they would.
On occasion, we have things we have to do outside the home and sometimes we have to leave (we go to the grocery store and the vet's office, just like everyone else).
When we need to do these things, we check the schedule to see when someone is scheduled to arrive.
We plan around our clients, but we expect that our clients will respect us and arrive when they are scheduled to arrive.
Our time is just as valuable to us as your time is to you. Thanks for understanding.
